If your credit score is 580, you can qualify for a 3.5% down payment. If your credit score is below 580 you may have to put down up to 10% down payment to qualify. If you're planning to buy a house, and your credit score doesn't meet the minimum 580 middle score to obtain a 3.5% down payment.
